Where can you go when the ground beneath your feet becomes too hot, while at another place it is impossible to keep your feet dry? Baboks answer: "Let's go to higher grounds".

NAP is like a road movie on the spot. An intimate performance for the senses. A confrontation with the elements, set in a miniature world, at two meters above ground level. NAP is about the effects of weather and natural disasters, about bad timing and bad luck. It is about the necessity to keep your head cool and dry in times of fast climate changes.

BIO
Babok creates visual, object theatre which is performed in an absurd way. This is presented in the public space having a thin line between performers and audiences.
Babok is a young company founded in 2005 by Guido Bevers, a visual artist, and Carina de Witt, a theatre maker. The two of them have quite some experience in object theatre and street theatre. Both were artistic core - members of Warner & Consorten. They performed at the most leading festivals and collaborated with different groups and artists all around the world. Having this background, the two of them started to devise renewed theatre for the public space. Small scale projects, accessible to everyone. Performed in an existing reality; people's daily life-environment. They create visual object theatre performed in an absurd way and presented in public spaces.
